It's a shame that happened to your group member, sewbizgirl. I encourage everyone to check the size of the blocks you are sent from every swap before you start sewing them together or quilting them. Since everyone pieces slightly differently, seldom do all blocks meet up just right, every time. That's totally expected.
This round so far I'm pleased to say I'm finding a lot of beautiful blocks spot on for size and good construction

. Yay you! (You know who you are!) I've found the occasional block up to 1/4 inch too small in one or both directions. It happens. But most problematic are those put together with what are essentially basting stitches and seams are as small as 1/16 of an inch in places. I'm left shaking my head. (There was no way to not see this while sewing so you know who you are.) I'm sure the remaining packages will have well-constructed blocks in them. I have confidence I'll be smiling ear to ear by the time I finish up the remaining blocks later today.
