HELP!!!!

About a year ago- when I started quilting -I brilliantly purchased several yards of printed blocked fabric from Walmart. They had it in 2 different patterns and 2 colors (blue or green). They looked like I had done a terrific job of quilting the blocks

I purchased 3 pieces. Unfortunately I didn't realize that the blocks/fabric was not squared. The 1st 2 quilts I made have been a disaster. They have puckered when I quilted them, been a pain to connect with binding. (They almost make me hate quilting)

The last one I cut into 4 block squares and added a 1" border around it. The blocksarae approx 13 1/2" sq. I want to square it and add an additional border before I sew them together

Now my question is - How do I square up the blocks. The largest square I have is 12 1/2

Should I purchase a larger square or is there a cheaper way to do this.

Thanks
