Jenny at MSQC has a wonderful tute for making 4 at a time but I don't know what size to cut the original squares of fabric! *sigh* I know I can rely on you!

PERSONALLY, I use Deb Tucker's tools and instructional videos to make HST and QST blocks. The paperwork with the tools provides cutting chart for multiple sizes, and using her methods (unlike many others), you do not wind up with outside bias edges.
