I have both the 8 inch and 12 inch Creative Grids rulers - worth their weight in gold when cutting striped fabric for table runners. These are the easiest runners and look much more complicated than they are - great gifts. If I were you I would invest in the 12 inch ruler - or perhaps you could borrow one.
