And you didn't like this quilt???? Its gorgeous. These are not my colors but I bet my sister would love it. The quilting for the 1st time is amazing, I'm totally impressed.
I find when you come across a quilt top I'm made and decidedly no longer like, once quilted it becomes something beautiful to me afterwards. An "ugly" quilt becomes a beautiful butterfly sort of speak. Quilting brings out the best in the quilt to me. You did an amazing job with what you call "doodling". Keep up the great work.
