Lyme disease would be a blessing compared to being bitten by the Lone Star Tick. Two husbands out of the 5 ladies in my quilt club have been bitten and now have
Alpha-Gal (allergic to red meat / mammals for the rest of their lives). Its a new and growing disease east of the Mississippi. The ladies are struggling to re-learn how to read labels and what to cook.....So please be on the look out.
