A neighbor used to use vintage quilts as backing on quilted throws & table runners.
She did lovely work,usually quilting by hand.
One surprise was how often they were used with the “back”side up.Her 3 DDs & Grdaughters all
loved the vintage sheets.She passed away & I hope her hand made “pretties” are being used.
That’s what she made them for.
