I would think that the Churn Dash is of one color but I am not for sure still kind of new at the quilting aspect, I will see what some of the other ladies think some of them have been sewing longer than me, you all are the ones teaching me what I am learning.
I have a book that has patterns in it. It shows what size to cut the pieces and shows a picture of how to lay it out but not specific instructions on how to put the block together, I just use the layout picture to put mine together for the winter swap and they came out good.
