Replacement plug for a Singer 99?
I'm hoping someone will know the answer. I just purchased a 99 crinkle finish dated 1941. I've been enjoying this little machine...although it needs some tension adjustments. I pulled the plug out of the outlet, and one of the prongs was left behind in the outlet. I would like to replace just the plug, if possible. I stopped at Home Depot on my way home today and saw there were 2 different types of 2-prong plugs. One is a 10A 125V plug, the other is a 15A 125V plug. Can I use one of these plugs, or do I need something else specifically for a sewing machine? The motor is hard to read, but says 100-110volts, .6 amp. Thank you for the help!
