I think I keep my old Bernina 830 just because of that wonderful serpentine stitch! (And of course to have a spare machine, and she is my old dependable- my forever friend) My current workhorse is my Janome 6600 and I love her too. Haven't got a favorite decorative stitch on her, but I love her variety and use several regularly.
