I always cut up my leftover fabrics into 2.5" (candy) squares, and I like to think up ways to use them.
It has been fun participating in some "candy" swaps to get thousands of different fabrics. The current swap is in this thread:

Since the main blocks are heart shapes, I thought it was appropriate to name the quilt "Valentine Candy."
