i think it sounds about right. i haven't mailed international for a few years now, but my best friend in holland & i used to exchange "care packages" once a year plus other little things as gifts etc. last thing i sent her was a calender. we had my photos printed up by kinkos as calenders to gift family members with every year with special days like birthdays, anniversaries, our cats birth dates
..lots of silliness included with pertinent. anyway, the last calender i sent her, pakaged in thin box cost 40$ ..we've stopped our "care packages" because of high shipping ..but i
soooooo miss the dutch licorice, cookies & misc!
