Default New/old Serger

I have to share - I have been going back and forth on if I should get a serger. I found a great deal on Craigslist and finally did the pick up today. It is an older machine, from what I have read probably built in the 90's. I will have to do more research on that. It is a Japanese built Singer 14U244B, 3/4 thread free arm with differential feed. It is so clean, no wear marks anywhere. I still need to go over it, clean out any fuzz and oil and then I get to play. I am really excited about this, it should be just sweet for sewing my handwoven cloth.

My poor dinning/sewing room has gotten crowded again:-)
