IF i was to purchase a new serger by Singer...I might agree BUT I bought one of these very similar Singer Sergers from a good friend of mine ( she has since passed. I miss her). She was clearing out her mothers' house as Mom was moving into an assisted living apartment. Her Mom used to do lots of home dec projects on it. It works like a charm!! I hope thhe OP enjoys it! I probably need to have mine serviced just to make sure all is well. I was impressed how it performed!
