I am so glad to hear that your trip went well QNS.

We too are having lovely weather. We haven't had to turn on the heater nor air conditioners for over a week.
about 3 weeks ago we got some low temps early one morning. We must of actually hit freezing for a very short time. The tomatoes died back. I had moved my very tender potted plants inside but most everything else weren't affected by the cold temps. Well Wed I was out looking at things & I noticed that one of the cherry tomatoes was regrowing some leaves. Since it is still in a pot we moved it inside. Now it had rooted a tiny bit through the drain holes but I don't think those roots are dominant enough to be a problem. We did cut it back to where the leaves were growing. Anyway we have it right by the French door that we don't use very much. It is a West facing window/door. I will have cherry tomatoes early next year I think.
