Rob, you could make one brown be a "constant"... all the same brown throughout the quilt. Otherwise just audition your other darks against your corals and aquas. Something in your stash is bound to work.
Hey, good news! Operation Fingertip is a success! When I took the bandage off last night, I had a cherry red fingertip, instead of the waxy white one. It's re-attached and has blood flow re-established... already! The tip is completely sealed back on, where I don't even have to keep it wrapped. I'm so surprised. Must have been all those good wishes!
