Me and my silly thinking. I feel so free now!
I have always been a purest when combining fabrics -30's, civil war repros, batiks and such. Even solids, for the most part. Can't believe I was hung up on this idea for so long. Was I the only one?
With this years mystery, I could not pull enough of the teals and melons from my stash. I had some in batiks, some in regular cotton. And, seriously, I can't buy any more fabric. (But, yes, I still wanted to)
I got a late start with clue 1 over the weekend. I set out what I had, and decided to just start cutting and sewing and see what happens. I am so delighted with the results!
I'll try to get a photo to post. I only have a few done. I'm supposed to be packing for a trip to Florida - ahhh! so mush to do!
