It was sort of interesting to see how people travel - some people manage with a small suitcase - some brought three or four largish suitcases - and they weren't even doing anything special at the event.
Also, sharing a bathroom and a vanity with three other people - that was also sort or interesting/entertaining/aggravating - depending on my mood and how long they were taking - and how urgently I needed to use the bathroom.
It does work better when the toilet/shower/tub is separated from the vanity/sink/mirror.
For me, I would just say that I have some severe sleep issues and really do better in a single room. I did the 4 to a room thing a couple times when I was active with the local DAR chapter and went to state conference. The bathroom part was worst. The closet space problem almost as bad. I got almost no sleep for 3 days and finally gave up on it. I don't know what others thought of me having my own room but at least I got some sleep.
