I sold not one, but three of my quilts!
When I used to work, I did the books for one of our clients... for about 15 years. Recently she came to my house for lunch and asked if she could buy my "Summertime Charades" quilt. "Gee, I don't know, how much do you think it is worth?" After a bit of discussion we decided on $300.
She took a picture of my "Three Little Fishies" quilt to show her boyfriend. He was interested in giving it to his daughter and wanted to know how much I wanted for it. "Ummm... $150?"
They came over to pick up and pay for those quilts today, and when he saw my "Ready, Set, Grow" quilt on the wall he wanted that too! "How about $100?"
I can't believe that they were willing to pay those prices for my quilts. I guess the moral of the story is to decide what you'd sell your quilts for before you are asked.
