I'm a light sleeper and need very few hours of sleep daily. Plus I feel I was blessed being born deaf in one ear so I sleep on that side and can't hear my fellow sleeper snoring to her heart's content. I rarely ever hear her get up whether in the middle of the night or early in the morning so I guess you can call me lucky being born with a defective part. It also comes in handy when you want to tune the surrounding noise around her or someone's talking at you that you don't want to listen to. Think that's called "selective hearing"...........
