You could have gotten easily $600 for the first one, especially because of the amount of applique and density of quilting PLUS the absolute QUALITY of it. If it was sold in a western state, like California, you could have gotten an even higher price.
I agree with Ruth. Of course it isn't always easy to find the person who will pay what a quilt is worth.
