Hi everyone! We have an old family recipe where we boil the sweetened condensed milk in water for 4 hours. One day I went upstairs for something and BOOM! Yep the can blew up and trust me, you do not ever want that to happen. I was scrubbing carmel off the ceiling and everything else for months. It went everywhere.

Believe it or not I still do make it, funny how my MIL always said 4 hours, so that's what I do. This is what we do.

LeRoy's Pie
Boil Sweetened Condensed milk for 4 hours. Let cool.
Bake a pie crust. Put 2 sliced bananas in the pie crust and then take the carmel out of the can and put on top.
That's it! Enjoy!

The bananas make the carmel not so sweet and is just a perfect combination.
