I'm 5 ft. and my husband is 6 ft. 6 inched tall. I make our bed quilts to fit the bed. The size of the mattress plus a 10 inch overhang for each side and a 10 inch overhang at the bottom. [queen size mattress 60X80, so quilts are made 80x90, or somewhere close to that measurement. Depending on the pattern]
