scabbard for grandson new sword
My grandsosn got a plasticmsword for Christmas. Blade extends out and it has batteries and is quite noisy. I offered to make a scabbard, but have no idea what I am doing. I traced it and made notes on the carboard, like the thickness and how wide to makeit so I wouldn't forget to include it when I transferred the carboard pattern to fabric. I also snapped a picturemof it too. Anyone have any suggestions or hints? I am totally out of my comfort zone. I amde a dog vest for outr lab once. She is yellow and stood out like a sore thumb, so I made her a vest with camoflauge fabric. But other than that, it has mostly been quilts. Maybe I am worrying too much, but we don't live in the same town and I would like tomget it done right the first time.
