Default Scrappy Flying Geese from Charm Swap

Just finished this Monday, just in time to mail it this week to my sister for her 60th birthday. I wasn't sure I would get the hand quilting done, but did it with a couple of days to spare! Lap quilt size and most of the flying geese are made with green charms from a swap on this board. The rest was all from my stash. Back is a cotton sheet I had that the hems were in bad shape, cut it down for a soft backing. I started this on Thanksgiving, started the hand quilting on Dec. 7 and finished the hand quilting on Dec. 25. All done while my house is on the market (lots of interruptions for showings, had to put everything away, etc). So glad it is done and ready to mail. I big stitch quilted this with Aurifil 12wt threads in 2 different variegated colors. I make the flying geese 4 at a time using Deb Tucker's Wing Clipper tool. I don't usually buy specialty rulers, but hers makes the job much faster and easier!
