I have a New Home zigzagger made by Janome. It was my wife's favorite machine: she used it every day until I nagged her into test-running a Morse 4300 I had fixed up. Soon I'll be replacing this Morse with a very recalcitrant 4100 I've been wrestling with. My Janome is a very solid and reliable machine. As I recall, it take high-shank feet. The best way to learn the diff is to google it. Sew-classic has a nice little description as I recall. The only skill required to distinguish them is the ability to tell 1" from 1/2". Easy.
