Those kookie aftermarket cranks work better than their loosey-goosey construction might suggest. I put one on a 66, a 1921 with the correct handwheel in place. I mounted it in a shelf next to her old Macomber loom (1937), and she uses it often when she weaves rags, or so it appears to me. (I care far more about the equipment, particularly the broken stuff, than about the craft, though I got my wife a Mirrix tapestry loom for Xmas and have been fooling with that lately.)
