I am a huge fan of Charlotte Hawkes' mysteries. Her mysteries are for scrap quilts (my personal favorite), and the finished quilts look so elaborate, but her directions are are really easy to follow. And, her MQs are free. She has the fabric requirements and cutting instructions up for her new mystery, Summer Stars on Fawn Lake, up already, and will be posting the first clue in about 10 days.

Here is a photo of one of her MQ's that I did a couple of years ago, called Scrap in a Box. (note: I did do my border differently than her original pattern.):
