Happy New Year to you. In this swap, we're using a max of fabrics. Two fabrics - 1 light & 1 dark are just fine and if you want, you may use a 3rd light/neutral fabric for the corners. ((max 3 fabrics per block)).
I'll post a picture of an example using light/neutral prints in the corners - the same one I posted last month but that's fine.
