I own 2 Pfaff 1473 machines - the only way to get an actual blanket stitch is to program it into the machine with the creative design component. My second 1473 did not come with it. It’s a royal pain to do this - the machine user needed paper grids to draw it out and then you had to plot it into the machine one point at a ended up buying a because I knew this brand makes wonderful blanket stitches without all the hassle. I have saved a screen shot from shepherdess55 just to give this way a try - for fun as I have several machines that make this stitch a snap to do and that I use.
