Nice quilt! I tried to do a Convergence but without directions--didn't converge! So I'm going to suggest something different here--how about on the borders lines going in the four different directions and in the center doing some "ghosting" of butterflies---so the effect is looking into a box of butterflies. Hope that makes some sense!
