some thoughts: it runs on
6 AAA batteries! regularly replacing those gets expensive. or you can buy an electrical adapter for $16. you have to use the Brother ribbons/tapes... 5 pack for $17. For quilts for kids, i would want to sew those labels down securely... the ribbons seem narrow and fussy to do that.
