I have had the round plate previously. I remembered when the light fell off as I removed the screw. I am guilty of not oiling it as often as you mentioned. My 301 needs the same so it won't be hard to remember. I am good about cleaning the bobbin race. My Elna has such low tolerances that I am used to that. I check every time I refill a bobbin on all machines in use. The MW is quieter, but still needs a little help to start and has a slight whine on start up, so I'll put checking the motor on my son's list for the next visit. I will also measure the belt and order the next larger size.
I have no idea how long this machine sat on the floor in a storeroom in the church before I got it. Love how straight it stitches for piecing, but haven't used it for much else. It wasn't wonderful at FMQ when the 301 blew it's cord connections, but the Necchi did a good job.
Thank you, again.
