I really like sewing with hc's and have five: 27, 28 (2), 127, and a 128. I am currently using a 28 to sew two granddaughter dresses. I am not allowed out of my sewing room with any of my sewing machines because I am too messy! I originally got them to teach my dgd's to sew when they get older.
