I finished my machine embroidered design t got from Embroidery Library. I finished by outlining the design then added small scale stippling. I was originally going to bind it and had prepared the binding and was ready to go. I went to my walk in closet and a forgotten picture frame literally fell from wherever it had been stored. It landed at my feet without a scratch, a sign. It was the right size and had a bible quotation on it . I upcycled the frame and added the cactus embroidery along with the previous matting. I used strapping tape on cardboard and it was a perfect fit. My simple cactus is all dressed up in the frame. It is going to be a birthday present for a dear friend who is a big fan of anything I make. Gotta keep my fans happy.
