Here's a picture of a scrappy DIC but the blocks are smaller.
Can you picture this quilt using 3 1/2" squares? IMHO, I'm afraid 'chunky' is what you may get. Is there any chance you could make the quilt with 2 1/2" squares? I just think it would look better.
