That’s great Nora, those pieces of leftover batting pile up quickly and take up a lot of space. When I make smaller projects such as bowl cozies, placemats and runners I always use scrap pieces of batting that I’ve joined together.

Today I finally decided where I would hang my rulers! After a month long test drive of using the laundry room as my ironing and cutting station, I’ve decided I like it. Used Command strips to hang them on the inside of a deep closet door. Now I can actually find the ruler I’m looking for within seconds!

Great space for squaring up blocks. For larger cutting jobs, like cutting borders I use the dining table.

Love all the storage space in this upper cabinet.

It’s nice to have the ironing board by the sink. I think I will make a Big Board to go on top of my ironing board, the flat surface I am using is too small. Has anyone tried making one, a Big Board?
Oh yes, added bonus - this floor is heated! So toasty on bare feet.
