Since the length was too long also I folded one side about 12" over on itself, attached to frame as usual and quilted with a design that could be continued where stopped. Once quilted, removed from frame and reattached with unquilted edge opened out and the quilted edge folded over about 12". Now I don't need to tell you that now that end on the frame is twice as thick as the rest of the sandwich. But it didn't matter because it was at the farthest end of the frame from where I was working. I picked up the design, a pantograph, and finished that edge as usual. I think the worse part for me was reattaching the quilt. It is doable, but I'll never make it a regular practice. I forgot to add this is on a 10' LA frame.
