Our guild did something similar to this last year. Colored markers were put in a huge brown paper bag. Participants reached in and drew out three. Those were the colors to be used. Could add black, white, gray or beige. I did not participate because we went on a fairly extended trip. However, I got to see what others did and they were wonderful.
