Since my sewing machine didn't weather the Harvey/reservoir flooding very well (5 days in a wet environment and then a month in the garage made it seriously cranky), so I had to get a new one, which led to wanting to make new accessories for it.
While I was looking around on the net for something different in the pin cushion realm I came across
this you tube video by Baby Lock, I thought a house was rather apropros since making a new one is because of what happened to our house. After watching the video I just free-handed it with as many polka dots fabrics as I had on hand, and threw on a gingham roof just because I like that combination, and quilted and appliqued it.
