Hello and welcome. YOu might consider looking at thrift shops. You can purchase inexpensive wool garments and felt them yourself. Look for 100% wool labels and/or dry clean only. I find that ladies blazers are a great weight to work with. You first deconstruct the garment. If there are any parts with fused interfacing, remove it with a warm to hot iron. You may have to experiment a bit, but I use a piece of muslin and a steam iron. I put the interfaced side up, cover with the cloth & use a lot of steam. Start at one edge and slowly work your way up, pulling the interfacing off when it's still warm. Then I stick the pieces in a pillow case and baste or pin it closed. wash on highest heat and agitation. dry flat.
