Half the time he's like "what is this thing, throw it out"
and I'm like, "dude, if you don't even know what it is, why are you telling me to get rid of it?"
Besides, who is he to tell me what should and should not be thrown out?
My father in law is the same way, and every time he passes a comment on it I just want to punch him. He says everything in my basement is garbage. Right, so all my fabric, my sewing machines, all my tools, all my tools for work, my art supplies, all my paintings and projects from College, yeah, that's all garbage? Just because he doesn't use it doesn't make it garbage! My father in law can be a jerk, though.
Plus, it's MY house!! He's not invited over for obvious reasons, he can't keep his mouth shut.
