Got the quilt framed, sandwiched, and basted, but a cold is getting the better part of me so think I'll forgo the quilting till I'm better.

I picked up a couple of tools at the quilting show, which are supposed to make it easier to quilt. Items called 'Aunt Becky's Finger Protector' and a 'Raised-Edge Thimble'. The saleswomen also sold me a disc demonstrating how she uses a loose quilt in the frame with about 2 or 3 inches give in it with these tools. I guess they use to use teaspoons in the old days to do the same thing and I can't wait to try, she had such even stitches front and back. Just need to rest and recoup for now though, darn.
