Dh used to have a lab mix who ate a hockey puck and the arm off of a couch. Dog was fine.

We used to have a pit mix who LOVED to eat anything sharp! She ate a pin cushion full of pins and needles, a cactus plant and loved to play with porcupines (had to removed quills at least 25 times). Jessie went to live with a neighbor and never broke herself of the sharps habit. She was no worse for wear and lived to the ripe old age of 14.

We now have a malamutt (half malamute/half husky...ALL attitude) who loves to eat fabric. I can't keep her out of my sewing room. She ate a setting triangle off of a quilt top I had just finished making for DD. Had to buy more fabric to repair it! Buying more fabric shouldn't be a problem...but I really didn't like the fabric. Will gift the scraps of it to my guild. Molly will also defuzz tennis balls.

My German Shepherd is "perfect"...she has no bad habits, almost. She loves to herd me - at 110 lbs., she is good at it, too!
