If you buy your thread locally, make *sure* it is polyester thread and not rayon thread. They look very similar, but rayon is weak while poly is strong.
You definitely don't want to quilt it with rayon. I made that mistake once. Now I'm looking at having to requilt that quilt because the rayon is breaking.
