If the top, as it appears now, bothers you, you need to determine how you're going to fix it to satisfy the intentions you had in the first place. Once you've accomplished that, if you still need a border, then apply the borders, and move forward. I'm a relatively newby, so if this doesn't solve your problem, just ignore this post. I think I know what's bothering you -- you want your borders to be the same size, and I do understand that. The only way that's going to happen is if you take the one row off, so it can be made into the other fifth row you need. Then you can add your borders, if that's what you designed this quilt to do. I know no one likes to rip, but sometimes, we just have to bite the bullet and rip!
