What Should I Name This Quilt?
I had these black and white checkerboard and dot fabrics that I wanted to use. I decided to combine it with some bright colors, and this was the result. I have no idea what to name it. Do you have a suggestion?
It is mostly walking-foot quilted, but I did put some free-motion curls in the colors.
I wanted to add to the length so I took some of the one-inch leftover checkerboard strips and added 2.5" black strips above and below. I was surprised that it came out looking like a road. I liked this look so much that I made some more with the leftover checkerboard fabric. That turned into 461" of road borders or sashing to use for a future project.
It measures 71 x 94 inches.
