My 301, AnnieRose, is my FMQ machine. I have the big plastic foot, but will try a small metal one when I remember to order one. I piece with it, too. I like the 15 clone for piecing - it seems to sew straighter, but I like the sound of the 301 much better, so it's the piecer when it's not FMQ.
Mine is a simple taupe short bed, but it's in great shape. I have a taupe long bed for back up. Would have preferred another short bed, but I took what I could get. I have the 1/4" foot, which I do not use, the SITD foot, which I do use, a circle foot, and a buttonholer, which I don't use. I have a roller foot from another brand that may fit.
