I don't think they would hold. They are only as strong as the paint and paper holding on to your wallboard....no match for a large quilt, IMHO. If you try it, let us know how it holds.

I wonder if those large Command strip hooks that you secure to the wall would work rather well? Then all you'd need is the small bungee cord with those small clamps attached to it to hold up the quilt.
