I have a pillow with a string-pieced back on it - I'll take a pic when I get home today & post it for you. A friend made it for me - only difference from what Norah said is that she started in the middle & worked out on each side.
String piecing is also on my "to-do" list - I like the idea of just putting strips in a paper bag & grabbing them at random to piece. No thinking, just piecing! lol
